Philadelphia Tie Blanket

short reviews Februar/I/2011

This month I venture even to Blaxploitation my DVD collection ... since 2009, I came into the extraordinary pleasure of Blaxploitation-Parodie/Hommage "Black Dynamite" , which mimics the mechanisms of this small sub-sub-genres excellent.

In Thereafter I added myself actually one or the other, sizing , trash representatives, or simply unknown film of this division - since remained all but unseen. This must of course are now being worked up ! There are many damn, so I guaranteed in February with will not get through, but I'm excited ! I hereby present to turn the 10 films (excluding series and movies that I do not see myself in a position to evaluate, for example, because I've only seen to fall asleep) that I've seen so far in the month of February :

facing (part 2) (2009)
The finale from the beginning of the deepening relationship between the protagonists, without explaining exactly what connects the two. While still exciting, but the mysterious, the ignorance in the first part I liked better. (7.5 / 10)

Lost Highway (1997)
David Lynch invites you to a wild trip between mystery thriller and film noir . cryptic as ever, and certainly not without interest. Would not it have been great to have Lynch "Black Swan" filmed? (6.5 / 10)

The Clones of Bruce Lee (1977)
aka "Bruce Lee - His heirs take revenge" . 90% unspectacular, staged bad kung fu without drama Gekloppe , 10% pure stupidity . 2 points he gets for his Trash qualities. (2 / 10 on a B-movie scale)

TRON Legacy (2010)
It's fun though , but the potential of the many good efforts in the script is treated ungrateful and never thought further , which usually ends in giant plot holes and logic . Optical hingegeg Mezedhes with great soundtrack. In 3D, of course, superfluous. (6 / 10)

The Devil and the Virgin (1963)
eerily beautiful morbid gothic horror of possession and the darkness of the soul, illustrated impressively by Mario Bava . Daliah Lavi provides a hint of masochistic eroticism and Christopher Lee Christopher Lee is just . But the film is also very, really incredibly slow and is sometimes only tells sluggish, while the monotone Klaviegeklimmper nerves sometimes can. (6.5 / 10)

Black Belt Jones (1974)
aka "Free trip to the Hereafter" . super entertaining blaxploitation-martial arts movie , who was most likely "Black Dynamite" Godfather. A cool Jim Kelly , a funky soundtrack and a casual presentation of Robert Clouse . Of course null seriously. (7.5 / 10 on a B-movie scale)

Doom (Part 1) (2009)
The beginning is slightly slow , but then starts the voltage need to. Yet there is something more to TV, which is probably to director Daniel Alfredson content. Michael Nyqvist and Naomi Rapace make her well again, however. (7 / 10)

crime scene: The dark spot (2002)
A good debut for Munster duo Axel Prahl and Jan Josef Liefers which form the main attraction of the series . The case is exciting whether its subject and ends fortunately not applied too thick. (7 / 10)

Doom (Part 2) (2009)
If exciting until the end does something small and personal in the resolution as yet "blindness" , gloomy with final. (7.5 / 10)

Hot Potato (1976)
sequel to "Black Belt Jones . Would like an adventure-comedy tried thus tend trying to be funny painful with bad fights, ridiculous character development (and characters ...) and a ridiculous story including Bond Villain . Had this film at all a concept, but "we make a holiday in South-East Asia"? staged Poor of Oscar Williams and quite entertaining ... (4 / 10 on a B-movie scale)

10 to 6.2 (61.5)
