Los Campesinos! - We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed

Modern anarchy

With "Hold on now, Youngsters put "the Chaos Orchestra Cardiff Los Campesinos! (In German: "the peasants") is a fantastic album that youthful naivete with clever lyrics and complete anarchy combined. The label-mate said about the band Look See Proof "Your songs are not perfect, but they work." Now one can naturally ask, what is meant in the music industry perfectly. To me all events, the songs of the farmers much more perfect and more refreshing than the unimaginative indie boredom from Look See Proof (in some songs). The boys and girls around the singers Gareth and Aleksandra can indeed, whether consciously or not, affect the Schnulzenpop, but consistently break the rules of modern songwriting. They cleverly create sugar-sweet melodies on their synthesizers for them to break with brutal riffs unmelodic - and then there's also singer Gareth - an important part of the music of LC. It is generally the music of the band to finally to say only one thing: This is Anarchy. But modern.

But now the band description of the concrete analysis of the new, just released a few months after the debut album, "We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed".
With a reef-opener starts "Ways to Make It Through The Wall", but the guitar is shortly interrupted by the sugary synth. The two Intruments unite with the drumming and the singing begins - again typical LC-fun-music anarchy. For the totally free, carefree feeling the first song shows already nearly perfect. The male, "nasty-owned" Gareth's voice and the female Aleksandras fit perfectly with the unusual lyre and the violin in the background. In addition, that have the two-class votes.
the end the song breaks then again "through the Wall" and its entire energy unfolds in excessive chaos orchestral sequences, in which the melody never missing. It is hardly changed in the foreground, in the background but very comfortable. It follows
"Miserabilia" and who at the piano intro of the song had the impression that this is a piano pop song that is taught by the rock guitars of better. But the song is sad yet, and the impression comes to mind that the farmers from Wales can also write quiet songs. "Miserabilia" the charm of a ballad played by the Sex Pistols. Dennn the song is indeed sad, but still loud and energetic, even though a much slower pace than the first song played. Towards the end of the chorus again unfolded a vigorous drama and then starts the next song, "We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed".
After an acoustic, typical intro to the verse of the song, dominated by Gareth's singing. Then again follows an audible chorus. This pattern is repeated three times, with the violin at the third time rebels in the background, and wants to take the lead. Then we hear the refrain again - this time with vocals. It takes a long time, has many changes in rhythm, and ends when the song back into the scheme of the initial returns. Towards the end of the violin may then ran really well again, play the melody and solo, and then increased again the drama that unfolded energy. Then the song is over.
that the synthesizer on the second album of the seven campesinos takes a much more important role than in the debut of the fan should have noticed. Even with "Between Earth and in Erupting in Exploding Sky" to the synthesizer first win the upper hand, and the sound is reminiscent of the actual scenario of Armageddon. The synthesizer will then, however slightly, and drums, lyre and song begin. This is the beginning of "You'll Need Those Fingers for Crossing" The play's statement demonstrates very good, but sounds sad, tragedian, dramatic. The Lyra is dominant over longer distances, while the synthesizer has disappeared almost completely in the background. Gareth and convinced us once again that he delivers a unique singer.
The next song, "It's never that easy though, is it? (Song For The Other Kurt)", again has a wonderful melody and a great atmosphere. This time again the naivety of the young Welshman is acted out the lyrics ironically act of heartache.

Quote:
"
I'm calling you again on your telephone
And all I ever get is another stupid ringtone
He's gonna get drunk and call you at four in the morning
(I know!)

And yes, of course, the Welsh always drift back into the trash. But they always treat him with a certain irony and that's what makes the lyrics of the band so appealing.
is followed then this song with "The End of the Asterisk" a typical, but not worth mentioning unbdenigt Los Campesinos song to make in which the Welsh called Chaos Orchestra credit.
interesting and of better quality is there already "Documented Minor Emotional Breakdown # 1", again with a great songwriting and beautiful melodies, and the sometimes seemingly senseless, self-deprecating, and distinctive Los Campesinos-lyrics, which state that "in this song for example "My life is saved by 90 cigarettes. "Of course, the farmers here again play a wonderful melody up and down, including striking chaos breakout at the end.
so far is that Gareth is much more often asked to the microphone than Aleksandra.
With acoustic guitar begins Pacific Daylight Time actually completely against the grain of the farmers. This is a lovely violin, one is on chamber music recalls. A heavier drumming rhythm follows, and the synthesizer highlights the music sounded full. The hidden voice Gareth latches onto it as a good. However, this sequence will stop soon, and even almost country-like guitar sets a -. And everything starts all over again this time the peak much faster targeted, but you wait for the chaos breakout vain. With roaring, broken radio voice of the song is finished.
And a final hymn to the modern anarchy begins with "All Your Kayfabe Friends". For here you can hear once again the typical LC-sound, this time in style with groovy Intsumental background, and used cheeky voice of Gareth. The chorus is Aleksandra and Gareth join a choir, and wait for the melody of the beginning. It is once again played the verse, the chorus, then an interlude, and again the chorus - this song is actually a knotless Indie Song? The similarities are hard to miss this time. But a
Indvidualität, they can be, the seven students from Cardiff. Suddenly, abruptly and completely out-of-Rhythm stops the song and the album is over.
A nice conclusion to which farmers have to criticism from the Welsh labelmates Look See Proof apparently taken to heart.

With so many bands, the "growing up" a signal to reject any new music of the band. For non-Los Campesinos. Because one thing, you can see, the sound is more mature, sophisticated and elaborate. Gareth sings almost exclusively, and the synthesizer takes a dominant position in the sound of the group. But keep in contrast to so many bands of this age, Los Campesinos! their youthful insouciance and naïveté and self-irony. Creative music is also already before this album was, and the boys & girls from Cahos Orchestra have done it even get this straight. Especially in songs like "Heart Swells / Pacific Daylight Time," where the band just try something completely different, it is perceived. get for their courage, creativity and modern anarchy Los Campesinos 10/10 for this album to me points.

Los Campesinos - Documented Minor Emotional Breakdown # 1 Live

Los Campesinos - Ways to Make It Through The Wall

Weil ich ihn so schön finde, hier noch einmal der gesamte Songtext von
"It's never that easy though, is it? (Song for the Other Kurt)":

This one time I kissed a girl
For class war
I pulled her hips in close and held my left fist
High above her pale right clavicle

And she said, "Tell me darling, do you think we have a future?"
Well, maybe, kinda, pretty sure we do between us
Bring over pictures of your dead pets and relatives
And we'll just say it's over if I don't shed any tears

I'm calling you again on your telephone
And all I ever get is another stupid ringtone
He's gonna get drunk and call you at four in the morning
(I know!)
He's gonna get drunk and call you at four in the morning

As if I walked into the room to see my ex-girlfriend
Who by the way, I'm still in love with
Sucking the face of some pretty boy
With my favourite band's most popular song in the background
Is it wrong that I can't decide which bothers me most?
In the forefront of my mind it's the thought
Not of you underneath, but me coming out looking worse

I'm calling you again on your telephone
And all I ever get is another stupid busy tone
He's gonna get drunk and call you at four in the morning
(I know!)
He's gonna get drunk and call you at four in the morning

Must-haves winter

With Music it as fashion. It comes and goes and comes and goes. There are the happy summer music and the melancholy winter music as the shorts in summer and the long coats in the winter. But a difference there is
: The beautiful, sunny weather of the summer you will not soon tired of how the albums of the summer.
And so may we look forward to new, new sounds, new atmospheres, and with top class this year also appear in the winter.

This Town Needs Guns - Animals
For many years to make the Oxford Math-Rock This Town Needs Guns wonderful music, the band is considered one of the best of the genre. But on an album, the listener waited in vain - until now. On 13 Animals appear in October, the first album the band.
origin of the name? ask now likely to be back some, and even if not, I'll tell you anyway this beautiful story.
How many math rock bands had This Town Needs Guns crazy long song names, such as "I'll forget about throwing that rock cos that dance was pretty funny," Oxford's decision but their pieces to title with shorter names, and arrived at the idea to name every song on the album after an animal. A wonderfully creative
marketing gimmick, and find great music you get now a crash course in biology. You know for example what kind of animal is the Quetzal? Or perhaps the chinchilla?

Kaiser Chiefs - Off With Their Heads
are the Kaiser Chiefs arrive at the Mount Olympus of indie music, looking from the top of the world down and ... bored.
At least that could have been, the new album by the Leeds band always shows them the same indie tunes to well the spirit are gone. Off With Their Heads is the boldest and most innovative album of the Kaiser Chiefs, produced by Mark Ronson and with guest appearances of a friendly rapper.
clearly influenced by the sound of the 80s, but still in the typical indie-rock, the album presents with more synthesizers and electronic tones clearly than before. A
Prelistening definitely worth it.

Bloc Party - Intimacy Bloc Party
is a band with each album, something new to try, attempting to mix new sounds, innovative, and not always pleasant.
particularly on the new album have Kele & Co. tried a new style, as well as with the Kaiser Chiefs electronic, but different oriented.
"Intimacy" is dedicated to the ordered chaos of Guitar, Synth, Vocals, Drums and vocals by the house music approaches, and creates danceable rhythms and song sequences. The only weakness: the new style is not on the album pulled completely.
