Red Area On Breastbroken Capillaries

short reviews Januar/2011

It's simply not do without. There is hardly a list I can write an obituary without . It is really sad ...

The German film world mourned the death Bernd Eichinger , the 24th January 2011 in Los Angeles suffered a heart attack . His influence on the German film was decisive and his sense of that time. Who is the German film now?

RIP

Yesterday 30 January also died John Barry in Oyster Bay, after a long illness from a heart attack . The legendary composer is best known for the James Bond Themes and can look back on numerous awards, including five Oscars. He was a congenial musicians and his death is truly sad .

RIP

This is when you times the previous list does not take into , the first review of the list 2011 . In January but this time only a list , finally came the second list in December some time and therefore has stolen the first day of January list the place . So on a successful 2011!

Here 17 films (excluding series and movies that I do not see myself in a position to evaluate, for example, because I've only seen to fall asleep) that I've seen in months January :

The Thing from Another World (1982)
One of my all-time Favorites by John Carpenter . One of the few examples is a striking remake of the original for : dense atmosphere to be included an oppressive feeling and the constant threat . Good tricked and a always cool Kurt Russell . And I like the title theme. (9 / 10)

From Beyond - Aliens of horror (1986)
Something trashy Lovecraft adaptation of Stuart Gordon , but which will also not entirely seriously. M eight fun, just because of the somewhat crude B-Charmes. (6,5 / 10)

(500) Days of Summer (2009)
Should I be worried slowly that I'm on love movies? This one is however also a special and ambiguous love story , even when it comes to love. healthy mix of drama and comedy with a glossy Joseph Gordon-Levitt and a charming Zooey Deschanel . (8.5 / 10)

Hero (2002)
content is sometimes a bit weak on the chest, but this beautiful, poetic images ! A real treat for the eyes and the last third is dramatically exciting . When watching always enjoy the beautiful pictures! (6.5 / 10)

The Shaolin Temple (1982)
Or "Shaolin - Convent of the Avenger" or simply "Shaolin Temple" . Extra long martial arts demo who staged the fight scenes inadequate outside and tells is. Would not it be Jet Li's debut in film would "The Shaolin Temple" light in the mass of Shaolin movies go under . And yet I wanted watch the movie again right after. Why? (6 / 10)

facing (Part 1) (2009)
S ore exciting novel adaptation Stieg Larsson , the appetite for more. With get used to anti-hero While still interesting and captivating and wonderfully un-American . Mir's dreading the remake, even if it comes from David Fincher . (8 / 10)

The Curse of the Golden Flower (2006)
The definition of a colorful film . Like the entire trilogy of Zhang Yimou magnificently equipped and in beautiful pictures captured - contrast with flagging content . But by and large he has richer than the previous . I like it. (7 / 10)
Black Swan (2010)
Darren Aronofsky can the symbolism-Holzhammer revolve forgets, however, the definition of subtlety . Natalie Portman seeks honest, but slightly miscast and their representation (Especially as an expression of naivete) acts badly wanted , although they played quite well . Maßlos überhypt and again with vorgegaugeltem draft. (6 / 10)

Alienate (2008)
Anbiederungsversuch British to American comedies. Simon Pegg helps to some extent by the toothless satirical bite and a s during inclement'll final third, but just more American comedy. (5 / 10)

Shaolin - Children of revenge (1983)
sequel to "The Shaolin Temple" that his simple and well-known story told straight . Although it is struggles less, but unless you can make friends with Asian children , the characters are child-friendly. Nice. (7 / 10)

Tron (1982)
The classics from the 80s course, is not necessarily strong , it tells the stronger visualizes and topic interesting implemented. The left optic today makes just as much fun as at that time. (7.5 / 10)

Undisputed III: Redemption (2010)
also demonstrates the re-sighting: great martial arts Klopper with great choreographed fights , a great Scott Adkins and even outside of the ring of Isaac Florentine well staged. Great! (8.5 / 10)

Paranormal Investigations (2007)
Cheap rutergekurbelter ghost-horror , the most gentle souls just to scare can, all other merely whether his stupidity and lack of production bores. (3 / 10)

Super Troopers (2011)
Yep, even I have watched. And as a native of Cologne I can find one or the other really funny , the rest just embarrassing, dull and ashamed to foreign - an e inziger facepalm . funny Ganz. ;-) (6 / 10)

The Toxic Avenger, Part II (1989)
In the second part of the Troma cult-trash-series captures the madness of really, probably after the Japan trip is ... incredibly imaginative tasteless, non-level jokes and cheaply produced, but soooooooooooooooooo incredibly entertaining! (8.5 / 10 on a trash-scale)

Killing Zoe (1994)
If the name is not on it stands Tarantino ... shrill Heist-mania for 6 years from 18 of Tarantino Roger Avary buddy , the less pleasure than he could make. Maybe even a little overloaded with all the nothingness. (5 / 10)

altar of Satan (2001)
Every single horror movie cliche stupid processed - all serious and taken without a shred of irony or humor . For this function null creepy, spectacularly boring and uneventful, predictable, anemic and 30 + ready-to-teen actors. Mies. (2 / 10)

17-6.5 (110)
